June 24-July 3, 2017
The term sobremesa is all about the Mediterranean culture of sharing at the table over long, slow meals. At Sobremesa we take our time to relax, enjoy, savor, and socialize. Come with us to experience the real sobremesa in Barcelona, the city where Sobremesa founder Camila lived for 15 years. Traveling with Camila will allow you access to exclusive gourmet sites (tapas bars, cafés, restaurants, artisanal local shops) that only an insider could know!
The warm early summer weather will be a perfect backdrop to explore local beaches, and enjoy the longest days and shortest nights of the year outside. This first Sobremesa Culinary Tour, Boutique Barcelona, is an exclusive tour with very limited spots! We want this to remain a small group so that you can get the most out of your trip, and receive lots of quality time with Camila and the rest of our wonderful staff, so we will limit the trip to just 8 very exclusive spots.
Sign up soon! We expect spots to sell out very quickly!

A morning visit to Gracia market and this charming neighborhood will be followed by lunch at a local restaurant owned by a colleague of Camila’s. In the evening we’ll have the privilege of a stellar Catalan cooking lesson with award-winning chef Ada Parellada at her restaurant Semproniana, followed by dinner at the restaurant, featuring what we cook during the lesson and other dishes on the menu.
Today we visit an organic farm on the outskirts of the city. Lunch will be on the farm, a meal prepared with their fresh-picked produce. You’ll enjoy some free time in the afternoon for optional activities. In the evening we’ll share dinner at a local bistro run by Barcelona Slow Food staff, also friends of Camila.
Today we experience a magical herb walk in the Collserola hills, identifying seasonal edible plants with Evarist March of Naturalwalks. We’ll bring with us a picnic lunch prepared by staff. In the evening we’ll toast the aperitivo at a famous tapas bar. Free time for dinner so that you can explore on your own (with recommendations if needed).
Finally, a visit to the famous Boqueria market, one of the oldest in Europe, and the Gothic quarter. Free time for lunch and other optional activities. In the evening we’ll feast after another great cooking lesson with chef Camila.
